Joelle loved acting in high school but when she was given the opportunity to direct a production of Our Town her life trajectory was set. Creating an ensemble of artists who have the ability to change lives, highlight truths, and challenge beliefs through stories became her passion.
She is a collaborative director and educator, continually engaging in flexible and creative partnerships with students and colleagues. At the center of this focus is her goal to create equitable, consent-based, inclusive spaces that allow story makers to flourish.
